How about TFT screen

TFT (Thin Film Transistor) is a thin film field effect transistor, which can "actively" control individual pixels on the screen, which can greatly improve the response time. Generally, the response time of TFT is relatively fast, about 80 milliseconds, and the viewing angle is large, generally reaching about 130 degrees. It is mainly used in high-end products. This enables high-speed, high-brightness, and high-contrast display of screen information. TFT is an active matrix liquid crystal display, which is technically driven by an "active matrix" method. The method is to use transistor electrodes made of thin film technology and use a scanning method to "actively pull" to control the opening of any display point. Relatedly, when the light source is illuminated, it is first transmitted upward through the lower polarizing plate, and the light is transmitted with the help of liquid crystal molecules, and the purpose of display is achieved through light shading and light transmission.

TFT also improves the phenomenon of STN flickering (water ripples) and blur, effectively improving the ability to play dynamic images. Compared with STN, TFT has excellent color saturation, restoration ability and higher contrast, but the disadvantage is that it consumes more power and is more expensive.

TFT liquid crystal is equipped with a semiconductor switch for each pixel. Each pixel can be directly controlled through point pulses. Therefore, each node is relatively independent and can be controlled continuously. This not only improves the response speed of the display screen, but also allows precise control. Display color gradation, so the colors of TFT LCD are more realistic. TFT LCD displays are characterized by good brightness, high contrast, strong layering, and bright colors, but they also have the disadvantages of relatively high-power consumption and high cost. TFT liquid crystal technology has accelerated the development of mobile phone color screens. Many of the new generation color screen mobile phones support 65,536 color display, and some even support 160,000 color display. Currently, TFT's high contrast and rich color advantages are very important.

Which eye protection is better, TFT or OLED?

OLED display technology is different from traditional LCD displays in that it does not require a backlight and uses very thin organic material coatings and glass substrates. When current passes through, these organic materials will emit light.

Moreover, OLED display screens can be made lighter and thinner, have wider viewing angles, and can significantly save power. However, although OLEDs with better technology will replace TFT and other LCDs in the future, organic light-emitting display technology still has shortcomings such as short service life and difficulty in making the screen larger.

OLED stands for Organic Light-Emitting Diode, also known as Organic Electroluminescence Display (OELD). Because of its thinness, lightness, power saving and other characteristics, this kind of display device has been widely used in MP3 players since 2003. For DCs and mobile phones, which are both digital products, OLED has only been demonstrated at some exhibitions before. The engineering samples of the screen have not yet entered the stage of practical application. However, OLED screens have many advantages that LCDs cannot match, so they have always been favored by industry insiders.
